Band of Skulls
Band of Skulls is an alternative rock band that formed in 2008 in Southampton, England. It consists of Russel Marsden (guitar, vocals), Emma Richardson (bass, vocals), and Matt Hayward (drums), who formed a band after they all met in college.
They’re formerly known as Fleeing New York, and recorded some demos, and did some gigs in the London area.
The name Band of Skulls was born in December 2008, and they the debut album “Baby Darling Dollface Honey” distributed by Shangri-La Music, was released exclusively on the iTunes Store on 6 March 2009, followed by a general release on 20 March.

Elizabeth and the Catapult
Elizabeth and the Catapult is a Brooklyn-based pop/rock trio, born in 2004, consisting of musicians Elizabeth Ziman, Dan Molad, and Pete Lalish.
They’re best known for their 2009 album “Taller Children”, produced by Mike Mogis and released on Verve Forecast.
After Ziman and Molad completed their studies, the band moved to Brooklyn in early 2005. Using Molad’s home studio, the band financed, recorded and produced an EP, Elizabeth and the Catapult in 2006. The band was the featured Billboard Underground Artist for October 2006, and signed with Verve Records in 2008.
