Adding colour to Melbourne’s musical landscape, Alpine (consisting of 6 friends) formed in 2009 and have gone from strength-to-strength ever since. Likened to Phoenix, Lykke Li and The XX, Fleetwood Mac & Sigur Ros’ distant cousin, they’ve held the mantle of triple j Unearthed Feature Artist and have found friends online, on air and on paper.

Fusing synths with honeyed harmonies, hypnotic rhythms and bright beats, Alpine appeared on the scene with a set of demos that quickly caught the attention of music lovers across the country.

Friday 10th of August marks the release of ‘A is For Alpine’, the bold, twinkling, and artistic debut album for Melbourne’s ALPINE. A collection of vibrant songs that shimmer and shine with colourful harmonies and inventive melodies.
