Planet Of The Stereos

Planet of the stereos are an award winning subversive pop/rock band from Sydney, Australia. The members of the band are Chris Collins (vocals, guitar), Mitch Serena (keys), Daniel Hunt (drums), Joel Geering (bass) and Marcüs Beaumont (guitar).

This music is that kind of music you easily can be fond of. It’s catchy, cool, and inventive. And it makes you happy.

Wasting time is a perfect piece of work. The rhythm, the chord changes and the arrangement in this song are good, and give you a positive sample of how the debut album would sounds like.

After all starts like a prog song and goes over to a classic Planet of the stereos rock/pop song. Something that makes this song creative and inventive.

Planets of the stereos has so far released three EPs, Delicate girl (2007), Before the storm (acoustic set) and a third EP Coming 2009. They’ve spent several months in Canada recording the debut album (due for a 2009 release), along with Grammy-winning producer Mike Shipley.
